The famous city of Los Altos is located in the Santa Clara County near the San Francisco area. Los Altos has a total population of approximately 29,000 people with 70 percent Caucasians and 24 percent Asians. Los Altos is Spanish for “the heights” and has currently been an affluent community up in the foothills. Los Altos began its expansion process in the 1950’s to the 1980’s.
